The Center of the Resoration of Iraqi Marshes and Wetlands continues meetings and exploring with the concerned bodies for the purpose of reaching to solutions capable of keeping  and preserving the marshes as a World Heritage, where the Director General of the Center Engineer Samira Abd Shabib has held a meeting with the scientific and technical contact unit officer that backs the Center in the implementation of the Ramsar Convention in Iraq Dr. Maytham Sultan and the representatives of the ministerial Committee of the World heritage to discuss what took place at a meeting (53) Standing Committee of the Ramsar Secretariat, which was held in Geneva, Switzerland and the recommendations resulting from the meeting and find solutions to the threats to Ramsar sites in Iraq and the reasons behind dust storms besides addressing to the workshops which will hopefully be held by the Secretariat of the Ramsar.
